The workshop used our own experiences as informal education designers and facilitators, as well as organizational research, to prepare participants to implement public engagement programs at their home institutions.

Mike designed and facilitated this workshop for the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP) in October 2025. The workshop draws on research by ASTC and the Kavli Foundation to give researchers a foundational awareness of relational science communication.
